ICAN and the International Peace Institute (IPI) invite you to join us on Wednesday, October 29, from 4:30pm to 7:00pm EDT for an interactive event marking the 25th anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security (WPS).
Together with women peacebuilders, civil society leaders, UN and government representatives, and the media, we will invoke “The Ghosts of 1325”—carrying the voices of the past, present, and future to confront unfulfilled promises and envision what a fully realized UNSCR 1325 might mean today.
This gathering will be a space for honest reflection and renewed commitment to the vision of women’s leadership in peace and security.
📅 Date: Wednesday, October 29
