On the 8th of October 2026, three days before the International Day of the Girl, Plan International will be hosting an expert meeting in the Plan NL office in Amsterdam.

Plan International will present evidence and practical experience on addressing child marriage in humanitarian programming. This is an opportunity to bring together experts to exchange experiences, insights and emerging approaches from different contexts.

At the event, there will be a youth ambassador from Uganda present, to speak on her experiences surrounding child marriages.
