- Identify tools for advancing transitional justice and rule of law reform.

- Learn about the objectives and building blocks of Security Sector Governance/Reform.
- Assess decentralisation models in post-conflict settings, including the role, risks, and opportunities of local authorities in supporting state legitimacy.
- Assess the role of the local governments in strengthening the public demand for peacebuilding and state-building in conflict-affected contexts.
- Explore how to effectively engage with local actors including local authorities, local justice and security actors, informal leaders and CSOs.
- Analyse root causes and triggers of conflict and work on designing future scenarios.
- Promote the conflict- and gender sensitivity of programme interventions.
Experts from the Geneva Center for Security Governance (DCAF) and PAX for Peace will share cases and lessons learned from countries affected by violent conflict.
