03 to 28 June: Public art installation 'Thinking of You' in The Hague, about survivors of conflict-related sexual violence

You are kindly invited to visit the public art installation 'Thinking of You' in The Hague!

Rooted in Kosovo, now in The Hague
This installation draws attention to the lived realities of survivors of conflict-related sexual violence, aiming to deepen public awareness and urge decision-makers to take stronger action against such violence. Originally created in 2015 in response to the ongoing trauma and exclusion of survivors from the Kosovo conflict in the 1990s, 'Thinking of You' has powerful roots.

This June artist Alketa Xhafa Mripa from Kosovo, together with The Mukwege Foundation, the Municipality of The Hague, and the Embassy of Kosovo in the Netherlands, re-create 'Thinking of You' by displaying dresses and skirts from survivors and their supporters worldwide through the global network SEMA.

You are welcome to visit the art exhibition indoors or outdoors:
Indoors: Atrium City Hall, The Hague, 03 to 28 June 2024
Outdoors: Lange Voorhout, The Hague, 18 to 23 June 2024
