Marking the 25th anniversary of the WPS agenda, this high-level event will bring together feminist
activists and civil society leaders from Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen. Against the
backdrop of ongoing conflict, regional destabilization unlawful occupation, gendered rights
violations, and shrinking civic space, the convening will provide a panel discussion on the regional
and country-specific gaps, challenges, successes, and recommendations of the WPS agenda
implementation.
