Syrian Women Group Emmen: Informative meeting about Honour-based Violence

In light of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, NAP 1325 Signatory ‘Syrian Women Group Emmen’ in collaboration with Workgroup Orange Emme and Alliance Refugees Emmen are organising an informative meeting about honour-based violence on the 27th of November.
Hilde Bakker from KIS (Kennisplatform Inclusief Samenleven) will discuss their research report about the different manifestations of honor-based violence, such as threats, abuse, abandonment, forced marriage and honor killings. The second part of the meeting is spent exchanging information, practical experience, questions, tips and advice.
