Newly elected women leaders in Burundi joined the training workshop by Care and the Hague Academy for Local Governance on inclusive governance. The workshop was the closing activity of the Every Voice Counts (EVC) programme and led to building up the women's confidence and skills to put forward gender-sensitive policies during their terms.
