Policy brief: Engaging men and boys in gender equality as a key approach of feminist foreign policy - Perspectives from CARE based on practical evidence from around the world

The policy brief advocates for the engagement of men and boys in advancing women’s rights and gender equality. It provides input for Feminist Foreign Policy and for programming on e.g. Women, Peace & Security and women’s economic justice. It is based on decades of experience in CARE’s programmes worldwide. It provides evidence of the benefits of engaging men and boys in tackling systemic issues that inhibit space for women’s rights organisations for their active and meaningful participation and leadership, ultimately aiming at transforming power structures.
