The Syrian Women Group in Emmen is a dynamic diaspora organization with members from the Syrian community in the Netherlands but their membership is broader than that. They successfully undertake a range of activities to actively engage and integrate women in Dutch society. The group has been nominated for and has won a range of local and national awards for their projects and initiatives.
