In 2021, WIGJ continued engaging with international criminal law practitioners to discuss and advance accountability for sexual and gender based crimes (SGBC). Important highlights are the developments on SGBC in the Ongwen case at the International Criminal Court (ICC), the launch of a Practical Guide on Acts on Sexual Nature in Colombia and the development of a policy on gender persecution by the ICC Office of the Prosecutor.
