The Netherlands hosts second Yemen International Forum in The Hague

This year, in collaboration with the Sana’a Center for Strategic Studies the second Yemen International Forum will take place in The Hague, Netherlands from the 12th till the 15th of June 2023.

Organized by Sana’a Center, the Yemen international Forum serves as way to promote dialogue between Yemenis and the international community in a combined effort to support a peace process that benefits al Yemenis. Providing a safe and neutral space for Yemini’s to address their issues, seek solutions, and discuss ways forward with the international actors also working to resolve the Yemeni crisis.

Building on the results of the first YIF, a variety of local and international actors involved in the Yemeni file, including representatives of Yemeni political parties, minority communities and civil society, experts and international envoys and diplomats will once again gather to discuss different topics surrounding the Yemeni crisis.

Waleed Alhariri, the Sana’a Center’s director for YIF 2023, said that holding the forum in a different country each year reflects a core notion that the YIF can reshape Yemen’s relationship with the world.
