The Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund is pleased to inform you of the launch of its latest Call for Proposals in Niger, which is available in French. This Call for Proposals provides grants for civil society organizations working to enhance women’s meaningful participation and decision-making in conflict prevention processes in Niger, as well as those working to increase the representation and leadership of women in formal and informal peace processes and/or the implementation of peace agreements.

This call seeks to fund qualifying local organizations in Niger through the following funding streams:

• Programmatic funding (Stream 2: USD 30,000 – USD 200,000) to finance programmatic activities of civil society organizations aimed at (i) enhancing the meaningful participation and decision-making of women in conflict prevention processes (in line with WPHF impact area 2); or (ii) increase representation and leadership of women in formal and informal peace processes and/or the implementation of peace agreements (in line with WPHF impact area 4).

• Institutional funding (Stream 1: USD 5,000 – USD 30,000) to reinforce the institutional capacity of local civil society organizations working on the implementation of the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda in Niger to ensure they are able to sustain themselves and to improve their impact (in line with WPHF impact area 1).
