Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice is an international women’s human rights organisation that advocates for gender justice through the International Criminal Court and through other (domestic) mechanisms.
Description of your main WPS related activities
- Advocating for accountability for and prosecution of sexual and gender based crimes (SGBC) - Supporting SGBC survivors with capacity building, amplifying their voices in different fora - Advocating for more inclusive gender justice in international and domestic laws, policies, practices, adjudications and jurisprudence - Working towards greater participation of women in conflict resolution, recovery processes and transitional justice mechanisms
