Description of your organization/institution
DRCC foundation is a women-led non profit organization established at the Hague since 2014. The DRCC main goal in to advocate for a meaningful participation and the integration of the Congolese Diaspora in the Dutch community and to lobby for peace and the reconstruction of the post-conflict zones.
Description of your main WPS related activities
In cooperation with civil society, knowledge institutions and the government, we lobby and network for the the implementation of a national pillar of the Dutch WPS agenda. We further participate in the NAP country group to achieve programmes that contribute to link actors on the WPS in the focus country and the Netherlands. The implementation of the WPS agenda in rural post conflict areas is at the heart of our programmes.

Description/comments
To achieve meaningful participation of women and girls of the diaspora in the Dutch community and the focus country, we network and advocate with role models and policy makers for an inclusive gender-sensitive policy. We contribute to women leadership in the focus country through programmes that enable women and girls to gain skills that improve their leadership and socioeconomic empowerment. Therefore, programmes and projects in vocational training and entrepreneurship are crucial to address the WPS issues.
