Conflicts are often intractable. Women experience their consequences the most. United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 urges that local women be given a position in peace initiatives. The human rights of women and girls must be respected. MWPN works together with migrant and refugee women to promote global acceptance and implementation of R 1325.
