On World AIDS Day 2020 a panel discussion was organised by Impact and partners, with human rights advocates from Rwanda, the Netherlands and Canada who shared their experience of collaborating with Rwandan genocide survivors of sexual violence. The Men Who Killed Me documented the stories of survivors. Ten years after the publication of this book, the editors returned to Rwanda to chronicle the trajectory of the genocide survivors’ lives. The second edition of their research, entitled And I Live On, captures the resilience of the survivors.
