Release Peace - the Magazine, reports on international affairs: The goal of the magazine is to shed light on underreported stories and bring minority voices to the attention of our readership. Gender mainstreaming is important in their editorial approach. MUCPAZ is a women-led group in Mexico, many of whom with indigenous roots, that aims to counter gender based violence and the life threatening risks women activists (and men) face, and contribute to peacebuilding. The article describes an innovative way of enhancing peace and security for women in the city of Juarez, as well as the importance of a NAP 1325 in the context of Mexico.
