Videoclip: Justice for abducted war girls - Grace Acan speaking at the Hague Talks

Grace Acan is the founder of the Women’s Advocacy Network in northern Uganda. The organisation is part of SEMA, the Global Network of Victims and Survivors to end Wartime Sexual Violence, set up by Dr Mukwege.
 
Grace talks about her abduction as a young girl and how she continues to fight for justice for abductee women and girls, since her escape and return home, in her community and the society at large. She talks about the challenges of returned abductees in a patriarchal society and the need for comprehensive justice for both the women and their children.
