DRCC and JEBK strengthen women and youth from indigenous communities/ ethnic minorities in rural conflict zones in eastern DRC. They do this through a combination of vocational training, environmental education and awareness on UNSCRs 1325 and 2250. People learn about biodiversity conservation and forest restoration in fragile environments, building on the local knowledge of indigenous women. The JEBK Community House thereby provides a safe space for women and youth to come together.
