2020 was an exceptional year for the whole world. Taking into consideration the abnormal conditions both our team and women journalists and defenders in MENA have lived under due to the pandemic; SFJN’s continued to implement its programmes, albeit the methods and forms have changed sometimes, following our mission in building bridges between Syrian media and the feminist movement and the pursuit of social justice whether through the activities of our programmes: Safety and Protection, Gender Radar and Women, Peace and Security or partnerships with women and feminist organizations and advocacy campaigns calling for the prevention of violence against women and shedding the light on women working in the media sector.
