Description of your organisation/institution

SARE is women led organization . It was established in July 2017 in Delft. iSARE aim to promote emancipation and the integration process of women, especially for women and girls with a migrant background. SARE Goals; Creating inclusive society where equal rights, opportunities and freedoms for everyone regardless of gender is self-evident. Improved socioeconomic position and rights of refugees and migrant women in Delft by eliminating barriers that block their socioeconomic empowerment such as language barriers, trauma caused by migration and barriers in accessing social services, health and justice, and other obstacles hindering their success the Netherlands. Empowering refugees and migrant girls and women in Delft ; to help them their own strength and talent(s), to discover , develop and use it for an active role in the society and connect to networks for support. Promoting the rights of migrant and refugee women and protecting them from all forms of violence and discrimination. Enhancing Women's equal participation and leadership at community and public domain. SARE consists of three board members and 20 volunteers. It operated through volunteers effort and we don’t have paid staff or own offices we implemented our activities in neighborhood centre

Description of your main WPS related activities

SARE strategic objectives and activities are directly contributing to realization of WPS agenda such as Strategic outcome 4 Relief, reconstruction and recovery meet the needs and contribute to the empowerment of women and girls. SARE is committed to empower and to improved socioeconomic position and rights of refugees and migrant women in Delft by eliminating barriers that block their socioeconomic empowerment such as language barriers, trauma caused by migration and barriers in accessing social services, health and justice, and other obstacles hindering their success the Netherlands. SARE does that through implementing different empowerment pillars and intervention such as; Walk-in consultation, Self-reliant Pillar ,Dutch language courses, Financial Illiteracy, digital empowerment, work and employability , protection , organization of information sessions ,Organization of Social events and leisure activities Sport and crochet

Description/comments

SARE is going to organise different activities to empower refuges women and to protect their right to ensure their access to services in Netherlands ,such as skill training, information sessions, coaching and mentoring. SARE would also perform advocacy activities in local and national forums in order to promote women right especially the right to live a live free from violence and discrimination. SARE organise regularly campaigns during International Day for the Elimination of Violence against through development of promotional materials and conduction of series of awareness sessions.
