Stichting Umoja ni Nguvu (Together we stand strong) strives for optimal integration of women from the Great Lakes region in Dutch society and realizes that there is still a long way to go for many people. We believe that the consistency and design of activities will take women seriously in this direction. Our foundation is a network of successful immigrant women who can participate in the peace and development of the host country and their country of origin.

Description of your main WPS related activities

Our foundation is a network of successful immigrant women who can participate in the peace and development of the host country and their country of origin. To that end, we conduct several workshops and conferences to teach women on several topics that lead them to their self-determination.

Financial, Advocacy

Description/comments

financial where needed, we will help women financially to overcome depression, stress and anxiety caused by trauma, so to help them get back to their feet. advocacy we will make sure to bring their voice where it should be heard; either to public institutions, companies or to the public.
